Braden joined Glen Cowan & Associates in early 2018 after completing his Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Alberta, majoring in Finance. He completed the Post Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation (PGCV) in 2025, facilitated by the University of British Columbia, and achieved his P. App, AACI Designation from the Appraisal Institute of Canada in January 2026.
Since joining the firm, Braden has gained experience valuing a wide variety of commercial property types including retail, industrial, office, multi-family, mixed-use and development land. He has extensive experience in valuing investment properties and preparing market rent reports across Alberta and has completed assignments in Saskatchewan and the Northwest Territories.
His appraisal experience spans assignments for financing, acquisition/disposition, lease negotiation, foreclosure, and internal decision making. Braden is dedicated to staying current with industry trends and market conditions, and takes pride in providing clear, well-researched analyses clients can rely on.
Outside of work, Braden enjoys staying active and spending time with friends and family. He received his black belt in taekwondo and primarily played soccer while growing up. As a youngster, Braden’s career plans consisted of “selling pizza on a beach,” which – needless to say – have changed… for now.
